Sentinel Relations is a software platform that is integrated to the rest of the Sentinel suite or even to any third party system that enables a business analyst without significant technical knowledge to perform visual link analyses.
It allows the implementation of prevention and detection strategies focused on multiple problem resolution, including origination fraud, internal fraud, transactional fraud, money laundering, cybercrime, organized crime, insurance fraud, among others.
It improves the efficiency and performance of the institution’s investigation team, as it enables them to employ a broad scope to analyze scenarios of all the data, or in the event of the investigation of a particular case, to open it and discover other negative effects.
The Universal Viewer provides a visual representation of all the data, promoting a highly interactive analysis and discovery environment, through which the analyst can understand the type of information available, generate filters, create instant analyses, and move to other analytical tools, like link graphics, tables, time series, geospatial analyses, files.
From the Universal Viewer, a user can upload additional information and link it to the rest of the data, without any programming required, offering extensive flexibility.
The Sentinel Relations tables display the complete information of the different nodes, objects, or players studied. These tables enable various features, like data priority, filter generation, and return to the Universal Viewer, to the Link Graphics, to the files or the investigations.
The link graphics provide a visual representation of all the relations among the data, facilitating the discovery of hidden patterns. From each node or element presented, it is possible to navigate to other elements that could have associated data, whether at the next depth level or going through all the levels.
From this option, it is possible to apply heuristics of social network analyses, such as: betweenness, close, closeness, page rank, shortest path, and Eigenvector.
The link graphics can be represented in maps to understand how the nodes or objects studied are located in different places, geographies, or jurisdictions. This functionality is integrated to Google Maps.
The instant analyses provide a way to store in Sentinel Relations the knowledge and discovery of hidden patterns and the analyses that have been performed throughout time, so that they can be easily executed when required again.
